Who and where • Jess and Matt Tobey of Sandy, Utah, and Rose Kilgore of St. Louis in front of Oracle Baseball Park in San Francisco.The trip • They flew to San Francisco in October 2021 and saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Alcatraz, Lombard Street, Oracle Park, Chinatown and more. Then they drove along the Pacific Coast Highway, stopping at the Santa Monica Pier for a swim in the Pacific Ocean. They continued driving to Los Angeles and saw the Hollywood sign, Universal Studios and more.Travel tip • This was an intergenerational trip with grandson, son and grandmother. “Grandson planned all the stops.
