What was your favorite restaurant in second grade? Odds are you loved places with grilled cheese or chicken nuggets. Each year, second graders at Kennerly Elementary School in Sappington, Missouri, complete an assignment where they share they favorite restaurants and dishes to work on their writing skills. This year, Popeye’s got some major love, as did Wendy’s. According to David, Wendy’s “has the crispiest fries.” A few local spots also got some attention from these kiddos: Evelyn raves about The Post in Maplewood. “Your pizza is so good and so cheesy and soft.
