ST. LOUIS — Condado Tacos, a Columbus, Ohio-based chain, will open its first Missouri location at Ballpark Village in the summer.
The chain is known for its fusion-based approach to nominally Mexican food. Tacos can be made with sriracha butter chicken, for instance, or a rice bowl can feature Korean pork barbecue. Other untraditional offerings include Thai chili tofu and Korean barbecue pulled jackfruit.
More traditional meals with chicken, beef, pork and vegetable proteins are also on the menu.
The fast-casual restaurant encourages customers to choose a base of tortillas, nachos or rice and beans, and add a choice of proteins, toppings, salsas and sauces.
Condado Tacos will join Katie’s Osteria and Pizza and Koibito Poke as restaurants opening at Ballpark Village in 2023.
